Anyone else out there feel like summer break just isn't long enough?
(Don't let non-teachers hear us saying things like that). It's plenty long enough, realistically. However, we are down to our last 3 weeks here in Dallas, and I feel like there are still so many "projects" I have yet to accomplish!
I haven't done a YouTube video in forever, I have some artsy-fartsy crafts to do, and I have hardly worked on my Learn Me Good sequel (Learn Me Gooder?) at all!
Where does the time go???

I think it is because for the entire time we are teaching, teaching is our ENTIRE life. We try to cram the rest of life into three months and for the rest of life, three months really isn't enough. Just a theory. :)
I definitely agree. Where does the time go? My to do list isn't much shorter than it was in May.
Agreed! I used to work in a private school with a summer vacation that was about 2 to 3 weeks longer and I was always ready to return to work by the end of the summer. Not so much now - and it's not because I don't like the job.
I don't think any break is ever long enough. I teach adults in the summer, so I work a lot. Days off are pure bliss.
