a few odds and ends

This week's Mr. Teacher column on education.com was supposed to be my wonderings on where all of my students are, seeing as how I only have 12 kids in my homeroom and 10 in my afternoon class. I think because of the long weekend, though, there wasn't enough time to proof it and get it online, so instead, there is a rerun of Save the Crossing Guard Save the World from last October. Darth Vader Explains the Pythagorean Theorem is now up over 17,000 hits since Saturday! And while around 7,000 of those hits are coming from the London Times article, there are many, many other sites that are running it too! Including this one in espanol!!
