I had a little boy almost in tears today because he so badly wanted to "do" April Fool's day, and I had to keep telling him that it was yesterday, so no tomfoolery was allowed. He was finally placated when I suggested that he write his plan for NEXT YEAR'S April Fool tricks in his journal.

Same thing here! Didn't help the cafeteria put "April Fools!" on the menus for this week, so they kept coming and showing me their 'proof.'
