I'm staying in Dallas

Some of you may have heard the news last weekend that I accepted the coaching job for the Orlando Magic. Some ungodly amount of money over 5 years. It seemed like a good idea at the time. If I was going to the paid to deal with whining, temper tantrums, and behavior issues, why not bump up the place value of that dollar sign?

However, I have had a change of heart. Orlando would certainly put me closer to Disney World, but Big D is where my home truly is. So I will NOT be working for the NBA next year. I have chosen to return to the elementary school that took me in four years ago.

Thank you.

UPDATE:

Since some people seem to be taking me seriously, I thought maybe I should put up this link to clarify...

It's funny, because I left the world of pro sports for elementary teaching! I figured that although the pay was much much better, if i'm going to surround myself with whining complaining children, I'd like them to have the excuse of actually being children!

You are my hero. What teacher association are you part of so I can nominate you for teacher of the year?

chrI mean Orlando, cheerleaders, money, cheerleaders, money.....

You are some kind of dedicated my man. I started out teaching elementary (first grade). There are only so many "female" stories a male teacher should have to endure. Know what I mean?

Suuuuuure. Be careful, everyone! He may SAY his heart is in Big D, but I recently saw a surveillance video clip of someone who looked an awful lot like Mr. T leaving the Lakers' facility in Los Angeles arm-in-arm with Jerry West. I've also heard tell that he's been brushing up on his trig lately (trig=triangle offense)? There could be a shakeup in LA, and it may not involve Kobe at all. Mr. T may not be as immune to the glam, glitz and glory of the NBA as he is proclaiming. Look out, Lakertown. There's gonna be a new sheriff in town, and he's got a pro-tractor and isn't afraid to use it.
