Go the F$@K to sleep

After a couple of nights with hardly any sleep due to a baby who screams and cries all the time (except when he's feeding, when he falls asleep), I have a greater understanding of why a parent might name their kid that name pronounced "Sha-theed" (spelled like you-know-what).

Welcome to parenthood. This is the easy part-wait till he is 16!
Congratulations!

I feel your pain. I have a 2 month old and a two year old.

Bed sharing (follow the rules) and side nursing helps a lot. That and knowing they eventually sleep. (but be aware... Sleeping through the night is defined as 5 hours straight...)

It gets better, sooner than you think. With newborns, it is usually gas. Sarah turned out to have a sensitivity to cows milk in my diet, and that seems to be a pretty common cause of fussiness and gas.
Anyway, best of luck!

Yeah, he is VERY gassy. We've been giving him drops of a medicine to reduce that and they seem to have helped. Not so much with the AMOUNT of gas, but at least with the painful force it is coming out with.
